Come prepared and leave prepared: Social tools can enhance the quality of meetings

Meetings are important. And besides the fact that once in a while everybody's fed up with them, well-prepared meetings provide important results and momentum. The challenge is to encourage well-preparedness and only to meet face-to-face when the outcome gains from it and the time and travel is worth it. Some organizations and networks are baseless or spread around the globe, making face-to-face meetings costly. An easy accessible place to share information and carry out conversations is a good base. Either it's a way to collaborate without having to meet physically or it is a way to exchange material or agendas and making sure everyone's on the same page cutting down on meeting time.
